These holomonsters look completely real but are harmless projections. But when superfan Newt Hawkin is invited to Holomonsters Global HQ to beta test a new form of the game, he soon discovers not all is as it seems. The holomonsters here seem more real than before - and increasingly unpredictable. Soon Newt learns that the engineers behind Holomonsters are using magic to enhance the game to dangerous new levels.
